Megamind (Will Ferrell) is a super-intelligent alien who has come from a different planet and landed in the Metro City (Metrocity) Prison. Megamind has constantly battled his nemesis Metro Man (Brad Pitt) since they both arrived on Earth as infants. Consistently losing to Metro Man in his schemes to take over Metro City, Megamind believes himself destined to be the villain. On the day that Metro City dedicates a museum to their protector, Megamind and his sidekick Minion (David Cross) kidnap reporter Roxanne Ritchie (Tina Fey), and then lure Metro Man into a copper-lined room. To everyone's surprise, Metro Man is unable to escape, and appears to be killed when Megamind's death ray strikes him. Megamind revels in his victory, but shortly after becomes depressed, his villainy having no meaning without anyone to stop him.



While attempting to destroy the museum, he disguises himself as its curator Bernard (Ben Stiller) to hide himself from Roxanne. As he talks with her, Megamind is inspired to create a superhero by injecting a worthy target with a serum fashioned from Metro Man's DNA, granting them Metro Man's super-abilities. As Megamind is selecting his target, Roxanne sneaks into Megamind's lair; in the resulting chaos, Megamind accidentally fires the serum into Hal, Roxanne's cameraman (Jonah Hill). Taking advantage of the gullible Hal, Megamind appears to the transformed human as his "space dad", grooming Hal into the superhero Titan (Hal's misunderstanding of Megamind's original name "Titan") and preparing him to fight Megamind in the coming days. Meanwhile, Megamind has become attracted to Roxanne, and continues to date her using his Bernard disguise. Titan, also infatuated with Roxanne, becomes jealous of Bernard, while Minion, seeing Megamind losing interest in villainy, angrily leaves him. On a dinner date, Megamind's disguise falters, leading Roxanne to dump him. Megamind, heartbroken, returns to his lair and vows to fight Tighten the next day as planned.



Megamind becomes impatient waiting for Titan and seeks him out, finding the superhero has used his powers for nefarious purposes. Megamind taunts Titan into fighting him by revealing his space dad and Bernard disguises. In the midst of the fight Megamind realises that Titan will not be satisfied with simply imprisoning Megamind after his loss, but intends to kill him. Megamind then tries to activate his safeguard scheme by capturing Titan in a copper-lined trap, and is shocked to find it fails to work. The villain flees, leaving the city to celebrate Titan's victory, until the "hero" reveals that he is taking over the city, and goes on a destructive rampage. Megamind returns to Roxanne, apologizing and convincing her to lead him to Metro Man's secret headquarters where they might find another way to stop Titan. They are surprised to find Metro Man still alive, secluded in his headquarters. Metro Man reveals he had become tired of fighting Megamind, and has changed into Music Man because he wanted to keep his logo, and had an epiphany that day, faking his own death to pursue his career as a musician. Without any new leads, Roxanne tries to convince Megamind to fight Titan as the city's hero, but Megamind feels he is destined to always be the villain, and turns himself back in to prison.



Later, Titan captures Roxanne and secures her to the top of Metro Tower, threatening to kill her if Megamind does not fight him. Seeing Roxanne in danger, Megamind pleads to the warden for his release, apologizing for all the wrongs he committed before. To the villain's surprise, Minion has disguised himself as the warden, accepts Megamind's apology, and the two take off to the city. They use an elaborate ruse, Minion disguising himself as Megamind to lure Titan from the tower, while Megamind disguises himself as Metro Man to save Roxanne and verbally berate Titan. Titan is temporarily bested, and told by "Metro Man" to leave "Metrocity" (Megamind's distinctive mispronunciation of "Metro City"), but the defeated hero soon returns, seeing through Megamind's disguise. Megamind is forced to run from Titan's wrath, until Roxanne discovers where Megamind left his invisible car and the tool to extract the superhero serum from Titan. Megamind successfully retrieves the device and uses it on Titan, reverting him to Hal. The city cheers for its new hero, a role that Megamind realizes he is capable of choosing himself.



In the aftermath, the former Metro Man museum is rededicated to Megamind, who became hero of Metrocity in a Metro Man disguise, who is slowly coming around to being the hero. He and Roxanne have developed a relationship, and hidden in the crowds, a concealed Music Man gives Megamind his congratulations.

127 Hours is the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston’s remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crushes his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Canyonlands National Park of Utah. Over the next five days Ralston examines his life and survives the elements to finally discover he has the courage and the wherewithal to extricate himself by any means necessary, abseil a 65 foot wall and hike over eight miles before he is finally rescued. Throughout his journey, Ralston recalls friends, lovers (Clemence Poesy), family, and the two hikers (played by Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara) he met before his accident.

Fourteen-year-old Katara (Nicola Peltz) and her fifteen-year-old brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), are near a river at the South Pole. While hunting, they discover an iceberg that shoots a beam of light into the sky. Inside of the iceberg is a boy named Aang (Noah Ringer) and a flying bison named Appa. Unknown to them, Aang is the long lost Avatar – the only person on the planet able to “bend” all four elements. One hundred years have passed since the Fire Nation has declared war on the other three nations of Air, Water and Earth in their attempt to conquer the world.



Zuko (Dev Patel), an exiled prince of the Fire Nation, is on a quest to find the Avatar and bring him as prisoner to his father, Fire Lord Ozai (Cliff Curtis). Seeing the light that appeared from Aang's release, Zuko and some Fire Nation soldiers arrive at the Southern Water Tribe to demand the villagers hand over the Avatar. Aang reveals himself as he surrenders himself to Zuko on the condition that he agrees to leave the village alone. On the ship, Aang is tested by Zuko's Uncle Iroh (Shaun Toub) to confirm him to be the Avatar. After being informed that he is to be their prisoner for passing the test, Aang escapes using his glider and flies to his flying bison brought by Katara and Sokka. Aang and his new friends visit the Southern Air Temple and he learns that he was in the ice for a whole century and that the Fire Nation wiped out all Air Nomads, including his guardian, Monk Gyatso. In despair, he enters the Avatar state and finds himself in the spirit world where he encounters a dragon spirit that tells him to make his way to the Northern Water Tribe to master Water Bending.



While at a small Earth Kingdom town controlled by the Fire Nation, Aang's group is arrested because Katara tries to help a young boy from a patrol. They incite a rebellion by reminding the disgruntled Earthbenders that earth was given to them. Katara is given a Waterbending scroll that she uses to perfect her Waterbending and help Aang learn as they make their way to the Northern Water Tribe and liberate more Earth Kingdom villages in the process.



During a side track to the Northern Air Temple on his own, Aang is betrayed by a peasant and captured by a group of Fire Nation archers, led by Admiral Zhao (Aasif Mandvi), a Fire Nation Admiral appointed by the Fire Lord. However, a masked marauder, the "Blue Spirit", helps Aang escape from his imprisonment. Zuko is the masked vigilante, and Zhao realizes this. He arranges to kill the prince. Zuko survives the attempt on his life with Iroh's help. He sneaks aboard Zhao's lead ship as his fleet departs for the Northern Water Tribe to capture the Avatar. Upon arriving, Aang's group is welcomed warmly by the citizens of the Northern Water Tribe. Immediately, Sokka befriends the Northern Water Tribe princess, Yue (Seychelle Gabriel). After a few agreements, a waterbending master, Pakku (Francis Guinan), teaches Aang waterbending.



Soon, the Fire Nation arrives and Zhao begins his attack while Zuko begins his search for the Avatar on his own, capturing Aang as he enters the spirit world to find the dragon spirit to give him the wisdom to defeat the Fire Nation. Returning to his body, Aang battles Zuko before Katara freezes him. As the battle escalates, Iroh watches Zhao capture the moon spirit Tui, which with its water spirit counterpart had assumed the form of a fish. Despite Iroh's pleas, Zhao kills Tui to strip the Waterbenders of their powers and abilities to Waterbend. Yue explains to everyone that the moon spirit gave her life, willing to gave it back as she dies in the process. With the tables turned, Zhao is drowned by Waterbenders after Zuko and Iroh leave him to his fate. Aang uses the ocean to drive the armada back. Aang now fully embraces his destiny as the Avatar as he, Katara and Sokka prepare to continue their journey to the Earth Kingdom to find an earthbending teacher for Aang. The Fire Lord learns of the defeat, and he appoints his daughter Azula (Summer Bishil) to capture the Avatar.

In 740 AD, one of Merlin's (James A. Stephens) apprentices, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina), joins forces with the evil sorceress Morgana le Fay (Alice Krige), betraying Merlin. Morgana mortally wounds Merlin before his other apprentices, Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) and Veronica Gorloisen (Monica Bellucci), can stop her. While Balthazar battles Horvath, Morgana prepares to kill Balthazar, but is stopped by Veronica, who absorbs Morgana’s soul into her own body. As Morgana tries to kill Veronica from within, Balthazar stops her by imprisoning Morgana and Veronica in the Grimhold, a prison similar to a nesting doll.



Before dying, Merlin gives his remaining apprentice a dragon ring that will choose the Prime Merlinian, who will become Merlin's successor. Only the Prime Merlinian will be able to defeat Morgana. Throughout history Balthazar imprisons Morganians, sorcerers who try to release Morgana, including Horvath, into successive layers on the Grimhold while he searches for the successor.





In 2000, 10-year-old Dave Stutler (Jake Cherry), encounters Balthazar in a Manhattans antique store, who is as youthful as when Merlin gave him the ring. Hoping he is the successor, Balthazar gives him the dragon ring, which comes alive and wraps itself around Dave's finger. Dave accidentally opens the Grimhold, releasing Horvath. While battling for possession of the Grimhold, Balthazar and Horvath are imprisoned in an ancient Chinese urn with a ten-year lock. Dave is humiliated when he is discovered by his teacher and classmates with his pants wet due to a vase that broke in his lap. There is no trace of the battle, so everyone believes Dave made it up.



Ten years later, Dave (Jay Baruchel) is a physics student at New York University and has made the reacquaintance of a childhood crush, Becky (Teresa Palmer). The mystical urn opens, and Horvath escapes first; he throws the urn out the window of an apartment building, but Balthazar escapes the urn just before it hits the ground and shatters. Horvath finds Dave, who is the last person he remembers possessing the Grimhold. Dave threw the Grimhold away after the battle, so he has no idea where it is. When Dave cannot tell him, Horvath unleashes a pack of wolves. Balthazar rescues Dave, and they escape atop a steel eagle.



Dave initially refuses to help Balthazar, wanting only a normal life, but agrees to help as long as Balthazar will leave Dave alone once the Grimhold is found. They track the Grimhold to Chinatown, where Horvath has released the next Morganian, a wizard named Sun Lok (Gregory Woo). Dave defeats Sun Lok, and Balthazar retrieves the Grimhold. Dave finds that he wants to learn to use magic after all, and agrees to become Balthazar's apprentice. He becomes romantically involved with Becky against Balthazar's wishes.

Horvath enlists celebrity magician Drake Stone (Toby Kebbell) to help him retrieve the Grimhold and defeat Balthazar and Dave, whom Horvath realizes is the Prime Merlinian. They attempt to kill Dave, but Balthazar saves him. Cued by Horvath, Dave demands to know the truth about Balthazar’s quest. Balthazar reveals that Morgana is trapped in the Grimhold, as well as Veronica; if Morgana escapes she will attempt "The Rising", a spell that will raise sorcerers from the dead and use them to enslave mankind. Dave, as the Prime Merlinian, and heir (albeit distant) to Merlin and his powers, is the only one who can defeat Morgana. Dave however curtly refuses to be taught further following an incident in a scene heavily based on the namesake Fantasia segment.



Horvath and Drake steal the Grimhold; once that is done, Horvath uses the "parasite spell" to steal Drake's energy, killing him, and takes his ring. He releases the witch, Abigail Williams (Nicole Ehinger), from the last layer around the Grimhold and uses her to kidnap Becky. Once Abigail completes that, Horvath steals Abigail's energy and her pendant as well. Horvath threatens to kill Becky, forcing Dave to surrender the Grimhold and his ring. Balthazar goes to defeat Horvath and Morgana, knowing that without the ring Dave will be killed.





Horvath releases Morgana, who still possesses Veronica's body, from the Grimhold. Morgana begins the spell. Horvath animates the Charging Bull sculpture at the north end of Bowling Green park, which attacks Balthazar. Balthazar's eagle saves him by flying away with the bull.



With Becky's help, Dave reaches them in time to try to defeat Horvath and stop Morgana from completing the Rising. Balthazar takes Morgana's soul from Veronica's body into his own. Morgana’s spirit escapes Balthazar's body, and begins to shoot energy bolts at him, which causes him to take the damage, killing him. Her ethereal projection is about to incinerate them until Dave stops her, using magic without the ring, proving he is the Prime Merlinian. He battles Morgana, and using the same experiment that he had shown to Becky earlier, he defeats her, destroying Morgana forever. Dave then saves Balthazar by jump-starting his heart. Balthazar reunites with Veronica, gifting her with a necklace he bought for her before she sacrificed herself. Dave and Becky fly to France on Balthazar's eagle.



After the end credits, Mickey Mouse's Fantasia wizard hat is seen in a glass jar, with Horvath's hat on a nearby table. Horvath reaches out and takes it.

The film is narrated by the adult Mattie Ross (Elizabeth Marvel), who recounts that in the late fall of 1877, when she was 14, her father was murdered in Fort Smith, Arkansas by one of his hired hands, Tom Chaney (Josh Brolin). Chaney made off with her father's horses and two of his California gold pieces. While collecting her father's body, young Mattie (Hailee Steinfeld) inquires about a Deputy U.S. Marshal to hire to track down Chaney. She is given three recommendations, but chooses to hire Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges), because he is described as the most merciless. He repeatedly rebuffs her attempts to hire him, believing that she doesn't have the $50 with which to pay him.



Meanwhile, at the boarding house where she is staying, Texas Ranger LaBoeuf (Matt Damon) arrives on the trail of Chaney. LaBoeuf has been pursuing him for several months over a murder in Texas. He proposes to Mattie that they should team up with Cogburn, since the Marshal knows the Choctaw terrain where Chaney is hiding, while LaBoeuf knows how the man is most likely to behave. Mattie rejects LaBoeuf's offer, because he would take Chaney back to Texas to be hanged for the prior murder (in exchange for a large cash reward), instead of her father's. After finally securing Cogburn's services for $100, Mattie is instructed to meet him the following morning to begin the search for Chaney. Instead of meeting her, though, Cogburn leaves her train ticket and a note telling her to go home, while he goes to apprehend Chaney.



Mattie catches up with Cogburn after fording a river on her horse. He has teamed up with LaBoeuf and agreed to split the Texas reward for Chaney. Accusing him of fraud, Mattie threatens to have Cogburn arrested for breaking their agreement, which specified that she must accompany him on the manhunt. Reluctantly, he allows Mattie to come along. After a disagreement, LaBoeuf sets off on his own in search of Chaney. Eventually, Mattie and Cogburn come across an isolated shack, where two outlaws are staying. After they turn on each other, Cogburn kills the older outlaw, and as the younger one is dying (from a stab wound inflicted by the older outlaw, coupled with a gunshot wound inflicted by Cogburn), he explains that "Lucky" Ned Pepper (Barry Pepper) and his gang were planning on returning to the shack later that night. Believing Chaney to be riding with Pepper's gang, Cogburn and Mattie lie in wait for the gang from the safety of higher ground.



However, LaBoeuf arrives at the shack ahead of the gang. When they arrive, they lasso LaBoeuf and drag him behind a horse. Cogburn opens fire from his hiding spot, kills two members of the gang, and accidentally wounds LaBoeuf. During the night, Cogburn drinks a great deal of whiskey and is severely drunk the next morning. The following night, he and LaBoeuf argue again, and LaBoeuf departs for Texas. The next morning, as Mattie draws water at the river, she encounters Chaney, who is watering the gang's horses. She draws her father's pistol and shoots him. The pistol misfires as she tries to finish him off, and he drags her back to the gang. Ned uses Mattie as a hostage, to get Cogburn to ride off. Ned leaves Mattie with Chaney, ordering him not to kill her. He plans to send a horse back for Chaney later in the day, once the gang have reached a new hideout.



Once alone, Chaney rejects Mattie's offer to attempt to reduce his sentence of her father's murder if he lets her go, and attacks her to silence her; LaBoeuf arrives and saves Mattie by knocking Chaney out with the butt of his rifle. LaBoeuf explains that when he heard the shots he doubled back and met up with Cogburn, who hatched a plan. The two watch from the hill above to the valley below, where Cogburn faces off against Pepper and his gang: the Parmalee brothers and Doc. After a brief argument, Cogburn charges wielding a Colt revolver in each hand. A tense shootout ensues, during which one of the Parmalee's shoots Rooster, but Rooster in rapid succession shoots and kills all of the gang and shoots and wounds Pepper. Pepper shoots Cogburn's horse and Cogburn becomes trapped under the corpse. The wounded Pepper prepares to finish off Cogburn, but LaBoeuf is able to kill Lucky Ned with his Sharps rifle from over 400 yards away. Chaney regains consciousness soon after, knocks out LaBoeuf, and wrestles with Mattie for his rifle. Mattie is able to overpower Chaney and shoots him in the chest, knocking him off the mountain campsite, killing him. The recoil from the rifle knocks her down into a snakepit, where she is bitten on the hand by a rattlesnake. Cogburn climbs down the pit and shoots the snakes, while LaBoeuf regains consciousness and pulls them up. Cogburn tells LaBoeuf to stay put on the hill, and says he will send a horse for him in the morning. Cogburn takes Mattie and rides all night to get her to a doctor. When they are only a few miles from the nearest town, Mattie's horse collapses of exhaustion and Cogburn puts it out of its misery. Cogburn picks up Mattie and continues on foot, arriving in time to save Mattie's life.



Twenty-five years later, in the summer of 1903, Mattie – now 40 and with only one arm, due to amputation necessitated by the snakebite – receives an invitation from Cogburn to meet him at a traveling Wild West show with which he is performing. When she arrives at the site, she learns that Cogburn had died three days earlier (July 15, 1903). She has his body moved into her family plot in Yell County, Arkansas, and the film ends with her standing over his grave. LaBeouf's fate is unknown, as Mattie remarks that she never saw him again.

In 1989, Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), an innovative software engineer and the CEO of ENCOM International, tells his seven-year-old son Sam (Owen Best) about a new "digital frontier" he has created called The Grid, a virtual domain existing inside his computer. Kevin tells Sam of the two programs helping him in his endeavor, Tron and Clu; Tron keeps The Grid secure, while Clu is tasked with creating the perfect system. One night, Kevin departs for his office to continue working on the development of his creation, when he mysteriously vanishes.



Twenty years later, Sam (Garrett Hedlund) is haunted by Kevin's disappearance. After sabotaging ENCOM's operations in order to protect his father's legacy, Sam is visited by Kevin's friend and ENCOM executive Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner). Bradley had received a page originating from a supposedly disconnected phone line at Flynn's long-shuttered arcade, and he urges Sam to investigate it, convinced that doing so may lead to information regarding Kevin's whereabouts. While exploring the arcade, Sam discovers a concealed door leading to a computer laboratory in the basement. Attempting to discover what his father was doing by calling up the command logs on Kevin's computer, Sam reissues the last command entered, unintentionally activating a digitizing laser which transports him to The Grid.



Sam is captured and taken to the game arena, where he receives combat armor and an identity disc from four Sirens, the arena's armorers. When Sam attempts to escape, he is pitted against Rinzler, a master of the games. When Rinzler notices that Sam bleeds, he realizes Sam is not a program, but rather a User, and ceases his attack. Sam is taken before Clu, the de facto leader of The Grid, whom Sam initially believes is his father. Clu forces Sam into a Light Cycle match with several other programs, and Sam is nearly killed before Quorra (Olivia Wilde) rescues him, taking him to a distant hideout in an area "off-grid" (deemed the Outlands), where Sam is reunited with his father. Kevin reveals that, during The Grid's development, "isomorphic algorithms" (ISOs) manifested with the potential to unlock mysteries in almost every field of science, religion, and medicine. Clu, however, saw the ISOs as imperfect beings, and following his programming to create a perfect system, betrayed both Kevin and Tron, seized control over The Grid; then proceeded to conduct the genocide of all ISOs, systematically wiping them from existence. It is further revealed that the portal to the real world, which takes massive amounts of energy to sustain, cannot remain open indefinitely and ultimately closes; it can only be opened from the outside.



Quorra discloses that Kevin can choose to "re-integrate" with Clu at any time, but that the process would destroy them both. Sam resolves that he must make it to the portal and back to the real world, where he could delete Clu from outside of the system. Quorra tells him about a program called Zuse, who she believes may be able to provide safe passage to the portal. Using Flynn’s Light Cycle to travel back onto The Grid, Sam employs a decoy to occupy Clu's troops while he infiltrates the End of Line Club. While searching for Zuse, Sam encounters Gem (Beau Garrett), one of the Sirens from the arena, who tells him that she can lead him to the person he needs to find. At the End of Line Club, the club owner Castor (Michael Sheen) is revealed to be Zuse, but instead of assisting Sam, he turns against him and exposes him to Clu's enforcers. Kevin and Quorra arrive to rescue Sam, and Quorra is severely injured when her arm is derezzed. They escape, but not before Kevin's disc is seized by Clu's guards. Kevin, Sam and Quorra are nearly killed when the elevator they are on plummets from the the tower, but Kevin uses his administrative powers as The Grid's creator to bring the lift to a gentle stop. Clu arrives at the club, and Castor attempts to barter Kevin's disc in exchange for dominion over the city. Clu counters the proposal by simply taking the disc and destroying the club, appearing to derez Castor and Gem along with it. Stowing away on a Solar Sailer transport ship, Kevin heals Quorra, whom he reveals to be the last surviving ISO, and brings her back online. As the ship approaches the portal, Sam and Quorra have a conversation in which she expresses her desire to witness the real world, particularly the sun.



The three ultimately arrive at a station aboard a massive warship. While trying to avoid detection, the trio encounters Rinzler. Entrusting her identity disc to Kevin, Quorra attempts to sacrifice herself as a distraction so that he and Sam may safely reach the portal, but she is instead taken hostage by Rinzler. Watching Quorra's capture, Kevin sees Rinzler for the first time and immediately recognizes him as Tron, apparently reprogrammed into servitude under Clu. Meanwhile, Clu addresses his troops, revealing his plans to use Kevin's disc as a means of sending himself and his army into the real world in order to "perfect" it. Kevin is momentarily captivated by the speech, which has an eerie similarity to one he himself delivered at an ENCOM event years before. While Kevin proceeds to commandeer transport off of the warship, Sam saves Quorra and retakes Kevin's disc.



The trio board an aerial shuttle and again set out for the portal, pursued by Clu, his guards, and Rinzler using Light Jets. Between Quorra's evasive flying and Sam manning a rear turret, they manage to shoot down most of their opponents, leaving only Clu and Rinzler. As the shuttle takes damage, Rinzler makes eye contact with Kevin, rousing memories of his true identity. Declaring, "I fight for the Users," Rinzler deliberately collides with Clu's Light-Jet, causing both of their vehicles to derezz. As they plummet towards the digital Sea of Simulation below them, Clu and Rinzler engage in a mid-air scuffle during which Clu steals Rinzler's spare baton, using it to create another Light Jet and continue his pursuit. Rinzler plunges into the sea, where the red illumination on his armor suddenly changes to his original white, signifying the regaining of his identity as Tron.



As Sam, Kevin and Quorra reach the portal, their progress is hindered by Clu, who arrived before them. Clu again seizes Kevin's identity disc, but is horrified to discover that it is actually Quorra's disc. Deducing that Sam and Quorra intend to use Kevin's disc to escape, Clu tries to attack them, but is halted by Kevin, who uses his powers to hold Clu back. Realizing that there is no other option, Kevin sacrifices himself and re-integrates with Clu. The two merge and explode just as Sam and Quorra transport through the portal back to the real world.



Back in the basement of Flynn's arcade, Sam saves the data from his father's disc on a flash drive and meets Alan upstairs. Sam tells Alan that he will start working at ENCOM on Monday, and as the controlling interest shareholder of ENCOM, he will name Alan chairman of the board. Sam finds Quorra outside, and she inquires as to what they will do now. Sam takes her on a ride on his motorcycle, showing her the real world she had longed to see, as the sun rises.

Toy Story 3 is a 2010 American 3D computer-animated film. It is the third film in the Toy Story series.[3] The film is produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.



Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, John Ratzenberger, Wallace Shawn, Jeff Pidgeon, Jodi Benson, R. Lee Ermey, John Morris, and Laurie Metcalf all reprised their voice-over roles from the previous films. Jim Varney, who played Slinky Dog in the first two films, and Joe Ranft, who portrayed Wheezy and Lenny, both died before production began on the third film. The role of Slinky was taken over by Blake Clark, while Ranft's characters and various others were written out of the story (Wheezy, Etch, and Bo Peep were mentioned in the beginning). New characters include voice-overs by Ned Beatty, Timothy Dalton, Bonnie Hunt, Whoopi Goldberg, Jeff Garlin and Michael Keaton.

The film follows Sinbad the Sailor, a prince of Persia, who must undertake seven tasks to halt an impending disaster that threatens to wipe out all humanity.

The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! is an animated, comedy direct-to-DVD film written and produced by original writers and executive producers Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein. The film is the first Drawn Together release since the show's cancellation and the film itself deals with it. The original cast return to voice the original characters of Drawn Together. The movie features the guest voice talent of Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy) as "I.S.R.A.E.L." (Intelligent Smart Robot Animation Eraser Lady), and Vernon Wells as the network head. The movie was produced by Six Point Harness completely done by Flash Animation.

2012 is a science fiction disaster film, directed by Roland Emmerich and released in 2009. The film stars John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Amanda Peet, Oliver Platt, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton and Woody Harrelson. It was distributed by Columbia Pictures. Filming began in August 2008 in Vancouver. The film briefly references Mayanism, the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, and the 2012 phenomenon in its portrayal of cataclysmic events unfolding in 2012. Because of solar flare bombardment the Earth's core begins heating up at an unprecedented rate, eventually causing crustal displacement. This results in an onslaught of Doomsday event scenarios plunging the world into chaos. Ranging from Los Angeles falling into the Pacific Ocean, the eruption of the Yellowstone National Park caldera, cataclysmic earthquakes wreaking havoc around the globe, and Megatsunamis surging across the Earth. The film centers around an ensemble cast of characters as they narrowly escape multiple catastrophes in an effort to reach ships in the Himalayas, along with scientists and governments of the world who are attempting to save as many lives as they can before the disasters ensue.



The film was promoted in a marketing campaign by a fictional organization, the "Institute for Human Continuity"; this entailed a fictitious book written by Jackson Curtis titled Farewell Atlantis, and streaming media, blog updates and radio broadcasts from the apocalyptic zealot Charlie Frost at his website This Is The End. This campaign was subjected to numerous criticisms, and was regarded as a form of viral marketing.



The film received mixed to negative reviews from film critics, but topped the international box office in its first weekend with $225 million.[3] It ultimately grossed over $769 million worldwide, becoming Roland Emmerich's second highest grossing film, behind Independence Day.

Sherlock Holmes is a 2009 action mystery film in which important elements, including the protagonists Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, are borrowed from the well-known stories by Arthur Conan Doyle. The film was directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey and Dan Lin. The screenplay by Michael Robert Johnson, Anthony Peckham and Simon Kinberg was developed from a story by Lionel Wigram and Michael Robert Johnson. Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law portray Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, respectively.



Holmes investigates a series of murders, apparently connected to occult rituals. Lord Blackwood is the mysterious villain. The story culminates with a confrontation on top of Tower Bridge, still under construction.



The film went on general release in the United States on December 25, 2009, and on December 26, 2009, in the UK, Ireland, and the Pacific.

Equilibrium is a 2002 science fiction/action film written and directed by Kurt Wimmer. It stars Christian Bale as John Preston, a high-ranking enforcement officer in a future dystopia in which all forms of emotional expression are illegal, and citizens are forced to take daily injections of drugs to suppress their emotions. After accidentally missing one such injection Preston begins to experience emotion; he begins to question his own morality and to moderate his actions, while attempting to remain undetected by the suspicious society in which he lives. Ultimately he is compelled to aid a resistance movement in the overthrow of the regime, using combat skills gained as a law-enforcement officer. Equilibrium contains plot elements from both Fahrenheit 451 (in this case, the destruction of works of art in pursuit of utopia) and Nineteen Eighty-Four (a post-World War III nation overseen by a Big Brother-esque figure).

A Clockwork Orange is a 1971 dark satirical science fiction film adaptation of Anthony Burgess's 1962 novel of the same name. The film concerns Alex DeLarge (Malcolm McDowell), a charismatic, psychopathic delinquent whose pleasures are classical music (especially Beethoven), rape, and ultra-violence. He leads a small gang of thugs (Pete, Georgie, and Dim), whom he calls his droogs (from the Russian друг, “friend”, “buddy”). The film tells the horrific crime spree of his gang, his capture, and attempted rehabilitation via a controversial psychological conditioning technique. Alex narrates most of the film in Nadsat, a fractured, contemporary adolescent argot comprising Slavic (especially Russian), English, and Cockney rhyming slang.



This cinematic adaptation was produced, directed, and written by Stanley Kubrick. It features disturbing, violent images, to facilitate social commentary about psychiatry, youth gangs, and other contemporary social, political, and economic subjects in a dystopian, future Britain. A Clockwork Orange features a soundtrack comprising mostly classical music selections and Moog synthesizer compositions by Wendy Carlos. A notable exception is “Singin’ in the Rain”, chosen because it was a song whose lyrics actor Malcolm McDowell knew.[1] The now-iconic poster of A Clockwork Orange, and its images, were created by designer Bill Gold. The film also holds the record in the Guinness World Records for being the first movie in media history using the Dolby Sound system.

Bedtime Stories is a 2008 American family-fantasy-comedy film directed by Adam Shankman that stars Adam Sandler in his first appearance in a family-oriented film. Sandler's production company Happy Madison and Andrew Gunn's company Gunn Films have produced the film, and Walt Disney Pictures distributing it

Hotel for Dogs is a 2009 American children's comedy film based on the 1971 Lois Duncan novel of the same name. The film, directed by Thor Freudenthal and adapted by Jeff Lowell, Bob Schooley, and Mark McCorkle, stars Emma Roberts, Jake T. Austin, Lisa Kudrow, Kevin Dillon, Kyla Pratt, and Don Cheadle. It tells the story of two orphans, Andi and Bruce (played by Roberts and Austin), who attempt to hide their dog at an abandoned hotel after their strict new guardians tell them that pets are forbidden at their home.



The film is Nickelodeon's second film to be produced by DreamWorks Pictures[1] after Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Shooting began in November 2007 and filming took place entirely in the cities of Los Angeles and Universal City, California[2]. The dogs in the film were trained for several months before shooting. Nearly 80 boys auditioned for the role of Bruce before Austin was ultimately selected.[3]



The film was released in the United States on January 22, 2009, and grossed approximately $17 million in its opening weekend in 3,271 theaters; it eventually went on to gross $117 million worldwide.[4] Reception to the film was mixed, with reviewers both criticizing and praising the film's strong appeal to children and, in the opinion of some, its lack of appeal to older audiences. According to the film review aggregate website Rotten Tomatoes, 45% of critics gave Hotel a positive review.
